There are quite a few public bbqs. A few picnic tables, and lots of grasses area.
The small island is well landscaped, it rather nice.
There is a fern garden that has fallen into disrepair. Which is a shame because it would be quite lovely.
I was disappointed to see the orchid glass house empty.
Over all a nice place, but it could definitely do with some maintenance. - Darto Mobile Added September 10, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★It's such a lovely lake & garden Ararat you are so lucky to have such a beautiful park. The on-site Cafe, which is just past the 'playground', have lovely coffee and serve light lunches & snacks making it a perfect spot to stop on way through town to Melbourne or Adelaide. It also has a 'pool' too if you feel like a dip. Absolutely Beautiful ❤️ skip Maccas & check out the gardens.

- Himanshu Senjaliya Added August 27, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★It is an amazing place to chill out. Water bodies are awesome over there. Very neat and clean park it is. There is also an Orchid which you can visit. Spacious car park is available. It is very good place for having good weekends.
